Recent Ministry Opportunities
We've been up to a lot throughout the year. Maybe you've seen us around town or attended a service recently. See what we have been doing and get an update on past events as we move forward to take advantage of new opportunities.
Free Roller Skating
We had a great turnout to our first ever free roller skating event in June. Many turned out to test their balance and coordination as we hit the rink. Aside from skating there was food for all and we had a wonderful chance to hear a message from the guest speaker, Jake Sullivan, former ISU basketball star.
Ogden Fun Days
No Ogden summer is complete without Ogden Fun Days. This year the rain held out long enough for everyone to enjoy the annual parade and experience the many events going on in the park. We also had a good turn out to our fast pitch baseball throwing booth. Many people stopped by to test how fast they could throw a fast ball and compete for the top prize.
Oktoberfest
What is Fall without hot chocolate?! We had the pleasure of setting up a free photo booth and hot chocolate bar. We had a great turn out and met some wonderful people.
UPCOMING EVENTS
As a church we are always planning and putting on various events. God provides us with many opportunities to particiate in the work of His ministry. Check back regularly to see what is going on at OBC and what we are up to in the community.
Small Groups
Join us this each week as we work through the Sunday morning sermon in a small group setting. Small groups meet on Wednesday evening to discuss Pastor's message and find practical application to life. This is a great opportunity to take Scripture and see how to put it into practice troughout your week. Call for times and locations.
Men's Bible Study
On the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM, a group of men from the church and community get together to study Scripture. What does it mean to be a man? What does the Bible have to say about issues that men regularly deal with? Whether you're 18 or 108, there is instruction that men can apply to their lives. Join in at the Chit Chat Cafe downtown and discuss with other men what God has to teach us.
VBS 2016
We are excited to host "Answers VBS: Ocean Commotion" this year at Ogden Baptist Church. Here is a bit of information if you are interested:
